Just like the name, the testicles have not descended from the body. Doctors can usually tell undescended testicles at birth. The baby undergoes an operation to correct, and voila, normal testicles. |

Undescended testes as I have read it, is a congenital condition characterized by testicles that do not extend to the scrotum. |

Well at least it is something that can be corrected. I would imagine that this would be painful if the child grew up and the problem did not get corrected. |

Yeah, it's so painful. I can't imagine how a child would feel if he will grow up not being able have his undescended testes corrected. But what are ways to correct it? |

surgery after he is born. doctors can tell immediately at birth if the child's testes have descended or not. if it does not descend in a few days, then they will opearate. |

at least it can be corrected immediately. i hope the babies arent in pain if they have this condition. |
