Studies have shown that men who use laptops for long periods of time have sperm related problems. This is especially true to those who put their laptops on their laps. Apparently, the heat coming off the laptop increases scrotal muscle temp, which is bad for sperm production.

I use a laptop too but dont put in in my lap....

It's quite true probably, because if you do put your laptops on your laps for a long period of time, you will really feel that it's hot and for men, it's causes bad production of sperm.

I think this is for guys that really use their laptops for long periods of time. I use a laptop and desk top everyday but even my laptop stays on my desk. Its just too hot to have it sit in my lap for long periods.\

This is just a heads up for the guys especially those TTC.

I think this information is quite helpful to all the guys especially those who are into this habit. They should better avoid this so that infertility problems would not happen to them.

It bothers me coz my boyfriend has that kind of habit in using his laptops. Think of the possiblity of him having infertility problems that's why until I don't conceive yet.

anything that puts too much heat in the testicles is bad for guys not just those who are TTC. So if you use laptop, better have it set up in a desk rather than on your lap!

unless of course we discover that the battery of the laptop gives off toxic fumes or something... =(

My laptop is actually too hot to put it in my lap! I can just imagine the sperm cringing away from the heat! LOL!

LOL... laptops and cellphones are being blamed for lots of things these days.

I think it is over use and not the gadgets themselves. Therefore it is our habits that need to be corrected.

Overuse.. That's the keyword. Same is true with Cell phones and any other gadget that you use.
