Infertility refers to the inability of humans to reproduce. There are several reasons behind this phenomenon. One reason is that the male has a low-sperm count. A male normally releases about 250 to 400 million sperm cells ever reach the egg. A number significantly lower than this is considered low. When the sperm count is low, the chances of fertilization is also low.

there are lots of factors for infertility and not just sperm count. other factors like age, stress and environment should also come to play as it directly affects the person having this infertility problem.

It is true, there are many factors that may cause infertility, Impotence is one of them. When male gets sexually excited, blood rushes through the blood vessels of the penis making it large and hard. The organ's muscles hold blood in its spongy tissues, causing it to become hard and erect but in impotency the penis can not be able to erect.

smoking is one of the reasons why guys have low sperm count. studies have shown that guys who quit smoking increase their sperm count by as much as 80% during the first few months.

Lets not forget that age can be a factor. Women over 35 will find it hard to conceive at this age compared to those in their early to late 20's.

Infertility may not happen to all, only to few but if it is abused it may happen to many. the person who I point out are those men whose lifestyles are not healthy. they are abusing their human body by doing beyond normal or below normal activities.they must change their lifestyle to a better one than before.

Yes! the present lifestyle has become abusive as if to some, they have no future, but to others also as if they are not contented to their wives, they want more women and to think they have only one weapon.

Supplements that improve blood flow to the penis may also help prevent heart disease, because both disorders often involve blocked blood vessels.

Some cases of infertility in men are linked to anatomical defects or scar tissue.

AshJade - September 4th, 2010 2:23 AM

Infertility comes in if male has too much cholesterol in their blood vessels which blocks the passage of blood and thus inhibits the erection of the penis.

the problem of infertility is hormonal in nature. It is is due to the abnormalities in the reproductive organ, prolonged exposure to radiation, or chronic illnesses such as tuberculosis or uncontrolled diabetes.
