Alcohol can interfere with the function of hypothalamus, the interior pituitary gland and the testes. This can cause impotence to men..

alcohol can adversely affect the leydig cells in the testes. Which is important in producing and secreting the hormone testosterone.

One study had found that heavy alcohol consumption can reduced testosterone levels in the blood. So, then it follows this can reduce male fertility.
