men with cystic fibrosis are infertile because the tubes that carry sperm are blocked with mucus and are undeveloped.

Cystic fibrosis affects different people in different ways. With regards to male, having cystic fibrosis can make them infertile.

around 95% of guys with cystic fibrosis are considered as infertile. they are also advised not to have kids because this type of disease is genetic so there's a big risk of passing on the gene to the kid.

this sounds discouraging for the guys that have this disease. But perhaps as medical technology improves, there will be a time when this disease will be treatable in regards to its effects to fertility.

so even if you were able to produce sperm, you are advised not to father kids because this is genetic, right?

tough luck for the guys! but I agree with SlimJim in that technology is always improving. And perhaps in the future there will be a cure. :)
