around 95% of guys with cystic fibrosis are considered as infertile. they are also advised not to have kids because this type of disease is genetic so there's a big risk of passing on the gene to the kid. |

this sounds discouraging for the guys that have this disease. But perhaps as medical technology improves, there will be a time when this disease will be treatable in regards to its effects to fertility. |

so even if you were able to produce sperm, you are advised not to father kids because this is genetic, right? |
