Some cases of infertility in men are linked to anatomical defects or scar tissue from a previous infection in the reproductive tract.

what causes these scar tissues from previous infections in the reproductive tract?

NadineChoo - September 10th, 2010 3:45 AM

Perhaps some groin injury can cause these scars to form or maybe there was trauma in that area?

Sometimes negative emotion can be a factor of infertility. Think positive all the time.

Some males have too much cholesterol in their blood vessels which blocks the passage of blood and thus inhibits the erection of the penis.

The most common is still low sperm count though. males who somoke even have lower sperm count than those who do not smoke.

Nothing can come good out of smoking. Aside from low sperm count it can cause cancer, so lay off the ciggies.

This happen to my cousin. his infertility is almost two years. He is a FORTyAger, at his age he can no longer do sexual play. Why? It is because he was a chain smoker. Before, you could never saw him without a ciggies.

To: KinglyShed - I have read that males who smoke have significantly lower sperm count than males who do not smoke. If your cousin quit smoking he could increase his sperm count by 80%!

My brother has a problem, when he was still a child he has big scrotum. And at this time he honestly told us that he was tempted and having sex with his girlfriend but one year past his girlfriend was not getting pregnant. Does it has a connection of his big scrotum before?
