Good day, I'm Melody Scot. My husband and I got married for almost 5 months and until now, I'm still not pregnant. Is there really such a thing called making love at the right time? I want to know when is the right time to make love just to make sure I get pregnant?

Well, 5 months of married is still too early to panic. I guess, your very much eager and excited to get pregnant huh. Anyways, my best advice is for you and your husband to make love between the time your temperature drops and the time it rises-a period of about 12 to 24 hours that usually occurs about 13 to 15 days after the start of your menstrual cycle.

It's good for you to ask about this matter Melody. The most important way that you need to remember just to ensure that you will get pregnant is to make love as close to the time of ovulation as possible. Why? It's because from the moment your egg is released it begins to age.Once ovulated, it remains at peak fertility for only a very short time and for most women, no more than 24 hours.

Yes there is. Ovulation typically occurs 14-16 days before your period. Maybe you can chart your period to start keep track and then count backwards and make love during these optimum times.

Good Luck!

I think the right time to make love is beginning when mucus is creamy and wet which is about 5 days before ovulation is expected. Continue to make love every day until mucus production takes a sharp decline.

I guess, you really lack timing. When doing an intercourse, all you need to do is proper timing in order for you to get pregnant. It relies on the egg and the sperm meeting at the right time. If you lack this, you will not get pregnant.

I agree with all of them also. it's really good that you make love at the right time and at the right place in order for you to get pregnant.

5 months is still a short time to be panicking but its a good excuse for a second honeymoon!

you notice that you are more relaxed on your vacation and for me its the optimum time to conceive. maybe you can schedule a getaway during your ovulation period! it would be so romantic!

I also believe in perfect timing..to be able to get a positive result, all you need to do is to do what's best for the both of you.

how about make love in a way you are both healthy, meaning to say both of you are so so in need to each other... you are both aggressive not tired.

How about putting a pillow at your hips while making love to your husband, just try it because it can also helping in conceiving. But don't forget to pray.

Take it easy don't panic. You know, if you and your husband are both exited to have a baby of your own, may affect your work to conceive. just relax! Put these to your mind , come what may all is God's will.

BabieCool - May 16th, 2010 3:15 AM

Of course in everything we must do there must have a perfect time to work with it. For your aggressiveness to have a baby of your own, is just natural. But just hold your excitement, cause it may result frustration for both of you, if ever it is not yet the time you'd be given a baby of your own.

yes, it's very early at 5months..however, i felt ur urgent desire to have a bb... right time and right place can help ;)

Don't forget too, being fit is essential for both of you..why not try to drink vit c and E, or eat those in rich in these and zinc..

gud luck ;)
