Sometimes it is difficult for me to go to sleep and this maybe the reason why I have irregular menstrual cycle. So, in connection to this, is it safe to take sleeping pills so a I can have a regular sleep?

That may have some effect on fertility. You should do away with those if you are on ttc stage because it may add up to your problem instead of solving it.

Are you sure of that? I think sleeping pills are safe and has no side effects as my doctor has prescribe. It may not be advisable for pregnant women already.

Well, I just want to consider all the possible effects. Sleeping pills may contain some unwanted content that may impair the normal fertility of the person but I have nothing against your doctor's advice.

Sleeping pills are sometimes used as antidepressants and this are not advisable to be taken by a person who is on ttc stage because it will have an adverse effect on fetal.

Ok fine, as I've read the reactions here, I don't think I would risk to use it. Some say it can be addictive too.

ARe you TTC? Ask your doctor especially if you are on fertility meds.

I think you should ask your doctor. Sleeping pills can become addictive especially at high doses. Also if you are undergoing fertility treatment, this can have an effect on the medication or procedure.

Your doctor can have medications of which your menstrual cycle may regular in its functions and also for your problem in difficulty of your sleeping. Just consult all of them to your doctor so that good treatment may achieve.
