progesterone imbalance is hard to diagnose because its symptoms mimic the symptoms of other illnesses. here are some things to watch out for if you have progesterone imbalance:

Mood swings
Depression
Insomnia
Appetite changes
Weight changes
Irritability
Lack of concentration
Anxiety
Fatigue
Frequent menstruation
Irregular menstruation
Low sex drive
Migraines
PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome)
Vaginal dryness
Painful intercourse

I think a blood test can confirm or deny progesterone imbalance.

But yes, the symptoms are a bit general.

Most of this is similar to hormonal imbalance. this is probably why its hard to tell just by looking at the symptoms which hormone is low or high in levels.

Yes, it's not easy to identify having low progesterone level. I wonder what kind of test can one undergo to immediately know if you have this kind of problem?

You just need a blood test and they do the rest! =)

Monitoring of progesterone levels is important as low progesterone is the leading cause of miscarriage in women.

the symptoms are so general. expample mood swings, depression, irritability, fatigue... you can get these just be being stressed or overworked. sometimes hormonal imbalance is just hard to tell just by yourself!
