my wife is always experiencing this during the 2ww after ovulation. she gets tender breasts, mood swings, nausea the works. its quite depressing when we see the BFN (big fat negative) on the test kit.

I have them to during 2ww. I think its psychological plus the hormones. And getting the big fat negative is a bummer! its a cycle we go through every month.

most women get these symptoms during fertility treatment. And yes getting the BFN is so.... depressing! but there is always hope.

yeah, I had this too. its like a roller coaster ride. you feel pregnant and then you're really not.

This is totally normal considering that when you go through fertility treatments you are pumped full of hormones. It's not really that surprising.

the BFN is a big buster. Everything just goes downhill after the BFN.

I think these phantom pregnancies are physical as well as psychological. You are hoping that you are pregnant which heightens the symptoms even more.

Since I have been TTC I have studied the law of attraction. This is probably one of the reasons why I get phantom pregnancy symptoms. The law states that if you want something you have to act and feel as though you've already reached your goal. There definitely is a psychological impact on the person.
