I would like to ask if my being overweight can put me to great risk of having pregnancy complications?

Yes, it does. You can probably get problem like gestational diabetes but there is really nothing to worry because this problem is very much controllable.

overweight people are already at risk for diseases like hart disease, stroke and diabetes. All of which are complicated when you get pregnant.

Yes, overweight people are really prone of having a lot of health complications, not only those who are pregnant but even those who are not. That's why it's advice that they will undergo some exercise routines and have maintain a healthy diet.

Yes, being overweight gives you a lot of pregnancy complications, so proper thing to do even when planning to get pregnant, you already start to eat well-balanced diet, have regular exercise, to prevent pregnancy complication to happen in the future.

Well, you and your baby can get gestational diabetes while you are pregnant. Diabetes as we know can cause a lot of problems in normal people and give more problems to overweight and pregnant women. I suggest losing weight before getting pregnant.

Yes, being overweight is prone to lots of pregnancy complications. So, start to have a healthy and nutritious diet plus a good lifestyles, not only to maintain proper and ideal weight but most especially for health purposes as well.
