if she wants artificial, there's always invitro. she can also boost fertility by taking natural (herbal) and pharmaceutical supplements.

I plan to retire at 45 so I applaud your sister in wanting more kids. I hear that egg white is great as lubricant in assisting delivery of sperm so maybe your sister can try... :)

At your age it is a risk in conceiving, but there are still cases which we may think that it is risky but the one who is conceiving survive.Thanx to the present technology.

Age really matter when wanting to conceive. I think, she needs to consult a doctor to know if at age of 43, she still is capable of conceiving.

the danger is conceiving at 40 aside from the usual physical difficulties for the mother is that there is an increased chance of illnesses like Down's syndrome. Of course its not automatic but there is a higher chance in women over 40.

its hard but not unheard of. lots of couples want a "new" set of kids after the first set leaves for college. its the empty nest syndrome.

so maybe a professional can asses her and then put her on fertility meds to increase chances.

It is not impossible but your sister already has secondary infertility due to her age. she might need assisted reproductive technique like IVF or IUI.
