which is harder? having first baby at 40 or having second baby at 40? is there a difference?

having a baby for the first time. In my opinion, women are more stressed worrying that they are not able to conceive at this age. if you already have one child, you can be complacent about it at 40.

I agree with the complacency. Also with first wanna be first time moms at 40, they have a sense of urgency and panic. This makes it even harder for them to conceive. And there's also the egg quality factor you have to think about.

I think it is harder trying to get pregnant at 40 than having a second child at that age. Aside from the psychological mindset, the body also knows how to respond to getting pregnant.

the chances go down after 35 so ttc after 40 is harder.

Chances will go down drastically after 35 so I believe it would be harder if you start at age 40.

It would be harder after 40 even if you already have a child. Fertility decreases as we age so the chances will even be slimmer for women older than 35.

It's very hard if it's for the first time having a baby at age 40, than having a baby for the second time. It's because you have a certain idea of what is it during the first time. As if you are more experienced on how to care a baby..so it's easy on the second one already.

Well, it's a lot harder having to have first baby at 40. You will have to encounter lots of complications due to age factor and many other. So, proper prenatal care should be given to avoid these.
