anyone can help me... this is my problem,

Hi everyone, I've only just joined in this forum and have no idea what to do. I'm a first timer actually and scared on pregnancy.

I'm 17 years old and found out on Wednesday that I'm pregnant. I done 3 tests and still couldn't believe it so I done yet another one yesterday not only did it tell me I was pregnant it also told me I was 4-5 weeks along!! I'm still in utter shock

Basicly I just wanted get advice would be great since I have no idea what the dos and donts are of pregnancy.

congrats on your pregnancy. Everyone here is great and really helpful.First off you should be taking prenatal vitamins, don't smoke, and don't drink which is common sence lol. Make a doctors appointment asap and tell you parents and the father of baby as soon as possible. The sooner the better ... i remembered at this age when i got pregnant too for the first time..that's why i can relate to your story :D

Hi, I'm also 17 when i found out I was pregnant at the end of November. It was also a huge shock for me. I thought I was imagining the two lines on the tests! I had to get my boyfriend to convince me that I was actually pregnant. Make sure the father of the baby knows and also tell a close friend who can support you. Plan what you're going to say to your parents and tell them as soon as possible. The longer you leave it, the more difficult it gets. I was advised to take Pregnacare, which you can buy from pretty much any pharmacy, and also Omega 3 because it helps brain development. Just make sure you take something with Folic acid in it so it reduces the risk of spina bifida.

Please don't keep this to yourself. It is such a hard thing to deal with on your own. Get a doctor's appointment as soon as possible so they can confirm your pregnancy and get you registered with a midwife. Good luck

No more (unheated) sandwich meat, soft cheese, caffeine, raw fish, ibuprofen, or roller coasters! Haha. Congrats though!! I think the most important thing is to make sure you start taking prenatals and get in to the doctor.

Good luck ! ;)

I actually didn't know this one until I was like 7 months pregnant. I'd been living off Subway and Taco Bell my entire pregnancy and nobody told me!

Anyway, congrats on your pregnancy and if you go to the store and get some prenatal vitamins they should hold you over until you go to the doctor.

I fell pregnant two weeks after my 16th birthday. I'm 17 now and I remember feeling scared and thinking my parents were going to kill me, etc. But trust me, things work out and they'll get over it.

Welcome to BnB and have a happy & healthy 9 months.. be happy for it is a blessing...
