Too much exercise can cause getting pregnant problems.

Over exercising can cause irregular periods, anovulatory cycles (cycles in which ovulation does not occur), and luteal phase deficiencies (a problem that occurs when the second half of your cycle isn't long enough to allow for the proper implantation of the fertilized egg)

So don't over do it.

I think this is for those who really take exercise to the extreme!

but exercise like jogging or brisk walking is mild so it should be OK to continue.

Just like Goldilocks said, we shoud be "just right". Not too fat and not too thin.

My trainer said that exercising for more than 50 minutes defeates the purpose as optimum muscle gain is only sustained for this amount of time. So anything more than one hour is a waste of time!

I actually went through this. I had to lose weight to get pregnant and I wanted to do it rapidly. So i dieted and exercised like crazy. I experienced amenhorrea for two straight months. After that I went on a much more physically friendly routine, normalized my hormones through BCP and got my periods regularly.

Exercise is good for human health. However, too much of it has its own disadvantages also to human health. To those who wants to get pregnant, please don't do it in excessive way, because it's really not good.
