I read on an old thread there that cough syrup like Robitusin can help loosening the vaginal mucus. What are your thoughts on this?

Really! I'm new here and it's probably an old thread. I'm kinda lazy when it comes to digging up old stuff like that.

But this sounds cool. Maybe cough syrups does work well with mucus - wherever mucus can be found. =)

ehhh??? maybe next time I have a cough I check to see if my cervical mucus is loose too... this is pretty cool...

I read about this too and it is said to work on the vaginal mucus as well to loosen it and make it friendlier to the sperm.

I agree, this is cool!

Cough syrup may cause additive if it is taken without a prescription from the doctor. We must be careful in taking medication without the prescription from the doctor.

In some cases cough syrup is also addictive so ask your doctor which ones can safely be taken when TTC and ask for the correct dosage.

Really? I thought this was just old wives tale or something. In college I've heard of kids getting high with cough syrup but always dismissed it. what if you OD?

Anyway, cough syrups have been reformulated right? But i guess long term use for remedy to the cervical mucus is out of the question.

just stick to robitussin. and dont over do it. when you finish one bottle but see no improvement i think its time to call it quits.

well, I have to refer this to my doctor first before believing. Actually, this is something hard for me to convince but, it'll try coz what if it's true, right?

Yes! I have heard about this. This is for women who have pasty cervical mucus even during ovulation time. I have heard good results regarding this treatment!
