i am asthmatic since birth. until i got married. i just realized maybe due to asthma that I'm not able to get pregnant..

help!!! thank you :)

even though asthma has not known to have caused infertility, medications given to treat the disorder usually contain steroids and this affects fertility to a great level.

Over a period of time if the person suffering from asthma has to undergo medication involving steroids or corticosteroids then it is possible that the fertility of the individual maybe developmentally challenged.

i agree on Burei and edaeb, it's not the "asthma" that causes women infertility rather the medication.

I recently came upon some information that said the some asthma medications can actually cause to stop having women cycle.

I'm very sorry to hear of your troubles :(

My wife Lina has asthma as well but the doctor prescribed her something that was pregnancy safe. But, she really haven't used it much and started supplementing her diet with Vitamin D and C. Seems to help alot!

nope... i have a lot of frenz who are asthmatic but they were able to get pregnant. that's why i dont believe this can cause infertility to women.

Try to consult to a doctor on this also.
