I have learned from my seminars that couples should try to conceive for at least a year before assuming that they have a conception or fertility problem. Do you agree with this?

YES, I DEFINITELY AGREE WITH IT. A YEAR IS NOT THAT LONG FOR ME. IF IN CASE YOU REALLY HAVE A PROBLEM CONCEIVING, AT LEAST FOR A YEAR YOU ARE ABLE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE TIME TO PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THE RESPONSIBILITY OF BEING A PARENT.

I also agree. At least you will be prepared enough to know all the things you need to know about parenthood. As we all know that it's not an easy obligation to handle.

I am thankful for this info because for 8 months now I am still not pregnant and it worries me a lot. So, I still have 4 months to go before assuming that I have infertility problem. Thanks for the post.

GOOD FOR YOU IVYROSE BECAUSE THIS THING WORRIES ME MORE. WE ARE TRYING TO CONCEIVE 3 YEARS NOW AND HAVEN'T SUCCEEDED YET. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO US?

Yeah, one year is fine with me. At least we could still enjoy ourselves as a couple and have some time to prepare for the future.

depends. our doctor told us to wait for two. i think it also depends on other factors like age of the couple etc.

AndrewStevens - July 19th, 2010 2:50 PM

yes. there are other factors that can contribute. but if you gave it your all for one year without birth control then surely something is wrong!
