Tubal blockage can happen due to conditions of a disease resulting in involuntary infertility. with reconstructive tubal surgery. According to statistics, around 1 million infertility cases among women in the US is due to tubal disease.

Pelvic Inflammatory Disease and Endometriosis are among the diseases that can caus blockage of the fallopian tubes. Congenital (from birth) abnormalities or a malformd uterus and/or fallopian tubes may also cause tubal blockage.

Treatments for Tubal Blockage, a.k.a Tubal Occlusion, that involves surgery, major or otherwise, consists of 2 basic approaches:

* Reconstructive tubal surgery
* In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

IVF, even if it involves minor surgery procedure, is the more accepted way nowadays.
