What do you mean? The question is kind of vague.
Are you saying how conception begins? Well it's simple. Male and female have intercourse. Man ejaculates and deposits semen into the woman. The semen contains the sperm, millions of it, that must find its way into the woman's fallopian tubes. Only one lucky sperm will be able to penetrate the outside layer of the ovum (a mature egg of the woman and there is only one).
Once that one sperm penetrates the ovum, fertilization happens next. A zygote is created from the combination of the egg and the sperm. A zygote is informally termed a fertilized ovum.
This is as far as I remember from my biology class in college. Hehe...
