Anorexic women are malnourished. Their bodies are often stressed because it is low in nutrition. So if the body cannot nourish itself how can it nourish another human being inside it?

Agree with Toni. But that is just part of the reason. Malnourishment is not the main causes.

Many cases of anorexic, bulemic and generally women with eating disorders have been found out to have irregular menstrual periods. That is one of the reasons why they have a hard time getting pregnant. Yet, study shows that as soon as these women are treated, majority of test subjects became pregnant sooner than expected.

Its also a state of mind. Anorexic women hate their bodies. They think that getting very thin is sexy. I think their mind would implode if they found out they were pregnant.

Anorexics have weak bodies and their minds are just not in the right state to have a baby. What I am saying is that their body and minds are not receptive to being pregnant.
