is the brief myth fact or fiction?

you know boxers are better than briefs...

ShyGirl - April 5th, 2011 2:34 AM

its not a myth it is a fact.

to increase sperm count use boxers instead of briefs.

+1 on fiction.

I tell you ladies, that is pure B*S*. Yep! Whether the man wears briefs or prefers boxers does not matter. There is no scientific proof that briefs directly deplete the sperm count of a man. If that were true, briefs would have been out-of-style a long time ago. :)

to: ROB, here's the proof you want

Scrotal Science

Recent studies have found that tight fitting clothing, whether it’s briefs or jeans, is not good for male fertility since testicles need a little space in order to produce sperm in an effective manner. Briefs also keep the testicles close to the body and, thus, at a higher temperature then the optimum needs for spermatogenesis. Men interested in penis enlargement should also know that loose underwear helps the flow of blood around the penis. An unhindered blood flow is crucial to successful penis enlargement and to the all-important gains men are after...so they claim.

As a guy who wears briefs, and I know lots of other guys who do and have fathered 1 or more children (including those outside of marriage), I am with Rob on this one. Not because I am a guy but experience is the better proof.

Sorry ladies. Not everything you read is truth. ;)

In fact, I am from a country where boxers are frowned upon by the majority of the male population. It is perfectly safe to say 8/10 wear briefs. The population rate here is alarming though. You could say briefs as a cause of male infertility is no more than an old wives tale.

The arguments here is quite funny. My humble opinion, and many men will agree to what I have to say, is that it's not about boxers or briefs. Rather, it is how tight their underwear are. A boxer short that is too tight on the crotch is more or less the same as a brief. Briefs with the right fit are ok, not too loose, not too tight.

Then there is also the question of how tight a man's pants are. Tight-fitting leather pants, even if he is wearing boxers, and you can forget about the whole "boxers is better than brief" argument.
