I want to share my situation. Me and my girlfriend conceived a healthy baby girl before we got married and when she was 2 we tried to conceive again but to no luck we really had a hard time on it. Now, our little girl is 3 and half and still has no baby sis or bro. What could possibly happen to us, it is just luck?

I don't think it is luck. Maybe you are experiencing a secondary infertility. There are cases when a couple already had a baby and got infertility problems after wards. Have you consulted it?

It could also be considered luck, like for example, let's just assume that you have a low sperm count or morphology but in some kind of luck a healthy sperm (included in the low percentage-SA) happened to reach and fertilized the egg. So, now that you are on ttc again, it is possible that you are now facing the real problem.

I see. I really do hope that whatever the problem is there is a solution for it. We want to have another baby, hope everything's going to be fine.

How old are you guys? Did something change in your lifestyle? Maybe you are more stressed now than before? There are lots of factor to consider. it wasnt luck that you got pregnant before, it was good timing... :)

I'm 30 and my wife is 28. Nothing really big that change in our way of living. We have the same work as before. We are planning to have a check up in order to know the reason for this.

For me, it's still considered a luck. At least you still have a child. Others don't have the opportunity to feel what it's like to have cared a child of their own.
