If sperm count were low, how do you increase it?

Seth - May 14th, 2010 5:30 PM

Doctors told me to stop smoking. This is one of the reasons for low sperm count. After I quit, my numbers increased dramatically.

Do you wear tight underwear? Studies have shown that if the testicles are exposed to too much heat it can slow down sperm production.

An increase in zinc intake can increase sperm count! :D

There are actually many ways to increase your sperm count. Avoiding the use of lubricants and avoid eating junk foods or canned packed foods are just few of the many suggestions.

other ways to increase male sperm count is to exercise adequately and to maintain a healthy and normal body weight.

Having an increase sperm count may be done by avoiding wearing tight undergarments or pants that overheat the testicles and also avoid doing bicycling exercises because it can raise scrotal temperature that may also contribute to the numbness in the genital organs.

My advice to increase a sperm count is to have sex or masturbate less often because the many times you ejaculate, the less dense your semen will be.

Well, many said that it's good to make love in the early morning or in the afternoon because sperm cells are in it's highest during that time.

Cindy - May 20th, 2010 2:42 AM

Really? Are you sure about this, or is this some kind of a myth on male fertility?

Pione - May 20th, 2010 3:52 AM

In a way of increasing sperm count, one must be healthy physically. And he must not abuse his body by doing some unnecessary sexual actions that result infertility.

BernieFer - May 20th, 2010 4:08 AM

Better consult a physician so it must be given an exact action for it. A correct attention for it,then the better cure be given for it.

My husband and I consult a good physician about our problem of not conceiving for 3yrs of waiting. The doctor gave an advise of counting days and to wait accordingly of the days when to make our sexual act. And the result is ... happiness... I'm already pregnant.
