My name is Joseph. Call me Joe for short. Would you believe that working near and around airport security scanners all the time will affect my being able to impregnate my wife?

We have been trying to make a baby with no luck for almost a year now. We are assured that these equipment emit radiation so minimal that it is not a health hazard even if I am exposed all year. In fact, they say that prolonged exposure to the sun and x-rays are riskier to health.

I am thinking I maybe a case. I've always had a healthy lifestyle. I seldom drink. Smoking is out of the question, not even a puff. No drugs whatsoever. I workout too.

Dude, it has been debated many times with people on both sides of the fence with very good arguments. No general consensus but I'm putting my bet on the 'it is safe' group.

Unless there is a proven scientific fact that it does increase risk of side effects caused by the radiation from being near the equipment, then you are probably among the few within the thousands of employees who happen to have a fertility issue. A coincidence.

Sorry man.. .
