What is Epididymitis and how can it be treated?

Epididymitis is infection in the testicles. I think this is treated via antibiotics but can leave scarring and cause fertility problems.

Epididymitis is caused by bacterial infection. Most commonly is the urinary tract infections that may result in spread in bacteria to the epididymus.

the scarring can cause problems during spermatogenisis or can cause blockages. this is why this kind of disease can lead to fertility problems in men.

uti can become Epididymitis!!! wow!

so if you get UTI better get treatment right away before it worsens and spreads to the testicles!

Epididymitis is a condition that occurs when there is an inflammation of the epididymis, generally as a result of an infection. In a sexually active men, the cause of infection is the sexually transmitted organisms. I believe that it can be treated.

can Epididymitis be caused by uti and STD? I mean if the person did not seek immediate medical attention.
