can clomid help testosterone levels to increase?

Yes. I have heard of some men who are using Clomid. I think they also use this for guys with varicocele.

I always thought that Clomid was for women's use... :D

Like Michael I never knew that testosterone could be increased with Clomid use.

Apparently yes. The hormones simulate the gonads and sperm production is improved!

Clomid is used to stimulate the gonads. So this works for males and females.

Clomid is normally used to trigger ovulation in females. Clomid, by stimulating the release of hormones, effects the release of gonadotropin and triggers ovulation in women with anovulatory cycles, who are sterile because of this irregularity. Though predominantly a drug destined for women, its effect on men has been well documented.

Clomid has a telling influence on the hypothalamo-hypophysial testicular axis. It stimulates the hypophysis to release more gonadotropin so that a faster and higher release of FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) and LH (luteinizing hormone) occurs. This results in an elevated endogenous levels (body's own testosterone level).

Clomid has been observed to be especially effective when the body's own testosterone production, due to the intake of anabolic/androgenic steroids, is suppressed. Clomid normalizes the testosterone level and the spermatogenesis (sperm development) within 10-14 days, in most of the cases. It is for this reason that Clomid is primarily taken after steroids are discontinued. Bringing the testosterone production to a normal level at such times as quickly as possible becomes important so that the loss of strength and muscle mass is brought to the very minimum.
