If your partner had low sperm count or zero sperm and treatments for both fail, would you consider using donor sperm?

Robert - July 10th, 2010 2:38 AM

I think we need to agree and have serious talk with my partner first. It is not an easy decisions and we need to consult also the experts regarding such matters.

AndrewStevens - July 10th, 2010 3:54 AM

No, I dont think so. I dont think I can.

Dominic - July 10th, 2010 10:25 AM

yeah! it's really not easy..I don't know how to react with such situation.. having a baby that comes from the other person's sperm.

Karein - July 11th, 2010 7:01 AM

It might became a psychological problem in the future while the baby grows up and the physical appearance is far from the reality of that of the father's personality. I wouldn't know how should I handle the situation in the future.

My husband is very traditional. If it were up to me, it would be OK. So long as we have a child together. Adoption sounds good too, but these are ideas that my husband is not open to and I have learned to accept it.

If i had no sperm then yes, anything to keep my wife happy.

Danny_A - July 19th, 2010 3:38 AM

Yes. It's still going to be my kid no matter what. A sperm does not make you a parent or a dad. Taking up responsibility does and that's what I want to be and I am ready to do.
