what are some of the reasons why embryos fail to implant during ivf?

This can be because the womb is not "prepared" enough for the embryo or maybe because the embryo has a hard time adhering to the womb.

wrong timing perhaps. there is always room for error no matter what you do. each cycle is a risk...

timing is very important.

maybe the woman also has hostile womb syndrome. this can make it hard for the embryos to implant.

I think there's something called adhesion that make it easier for the uterus and embryo to cling to each other better. Perhaps on some cases this adhesion is not present.

this has something to do with the embryo and the egg. Perhaps they are not compatible which is why they do not implant.

Perhaps it is not meant to be. Even after several treatment courses and numerous failures, I have learned that sometimes no matter what you do the embryos just wont implant because of other factors that affect you.

Yes it would look to be that way, Marcopolo. Sometimes no matter how much we try, it still fails for no logical reason. If it's not meant to be then what can we do? Expect a miracle? Life is so hard sometimes, isn't it?

the womb may not be prepared, the embryo and the womb may not be compatible, or the womb may be unhealthy. there is definitely a lot of factors affecting the failure
