How do you find a reliable fertility doctor? Is a recommendation good enough for you? Do you have criteria that you can share? thanks.

I always go for personal recommendations from close friends or family. If you have a friend or family member who has had success with a certain fertility doctor, then you should try him out.

You should check out their educational background and do a bit of digging. Fertility doctors are like plastic surgeons - very expensive. so you should get your money's worth.

OMG! Talk about timing! A friend of mine recently got scammed by a second rate fertility doctor! We found out from the local business bureau that the man was infact not a doctor but sort of like a nurse who used to work with a fertility doctor! Luckily, the BB that he went to to get his business permit in town ran a check on his name!

find the local expert. he will usually have lots of clients so you can get feedback right away. also the popular ones tend to be the more succesfull ones so track these people down.

In finding an appropriate doctor, you have to ask help from a friend doctor whom he can refer with for they know each other.
