yeah! breastfeeding is not 100% effective for you not to get pregnant. Like my auntie she still get pregnant 5months after birth and she is breastfeeding that time.

for you to get pregnant you need to eliminate feeding during the night. Or at least reduce them sufficiently so that there is a minimum of a six hour period in the day that you are not breastfeeding.

you must only breastfeed shorter time period to encourage fertility to return.

you must breastfeed less. This way you become increasingly fertile. You can add solids to your baby’s diet, as much as 25 %.

for you to become fertile back you should breastfeed less frequently , the more likely your menstrual period is to return.

if you are breastfeeding and you want to become pregnant you can use mix formula for missed breastfeeding of your baby. This will help you return your period so as your fertility.

If you are exclusively breastfeeding and want to get pregnant gradually reduce the amount of time and frequency of each breastfeeding session so your child is not negatively impacted.

You must check your BBT and cervical mucus regularly to determine your most fertile days after your mestruation has returned. Then, if you have already determined those days you should have intercourse every day or on alternating days during your peak fertile times. This will help you improve your chances of conception while you are still breastfeeding.

Take note that it will take time to get preggy if the first time you try fails. Just be patient and keep in mind that as your child reduces the amount of time spent at the breast your fertility will continue to increase as will your odds of conceiving again.
