I have been TTC for 14 months, not had period since and discovered I had an underactive thryoid 8 months ago but still no periods. GP and gynacology has just told me to keep waiting until medication works. Can anyone help with advice as very upsetting and fed up waiting which not helping TTC either.

Hey Maggie! Underactive thyroid is known to cause women irregular cycles as you already know. Your doctor will have explained that. This hormone disturbances will affect fertility and the chances of conception. Regular medication helps proper regulation of thyroid hormones which increases chances of pregnancy. Monitor your weight. Exercise regularly.
