For me, adoption is the last option if there's no other way. This is better than no child at all. It's very lonely to have no child at all... :(

no. we talked about this and if our treatments fail then we have decided to live childless.

I have to say I was 16 when I had a handsome son and adoption was THE right choice.. Not only did I make sure he would forever be taken care of but also a family who COULD NOT have kids were blessed with a child to love as if it were there own... ADOPTION is a blessing

When it comes down to adoption, that will be when we've exhausted all ways of TTC.

A question: Adding up all the expenses on fertility treatments versus adopting a child, which one is the least cost?

Because if it fails for me after payment of thousands of dollars, we may opt for adopting rather than give it a 2nd shot. We're not rich. As much as we want a child by natural means, it is not wise to blindly pursue it without thinking about the financial consequences. We'd be buried neck-deep in debts. Just my $0.02.
