I have PCOS and plan to go on a no carb diet to speed up my dieting. I plan to cut down on potatoes, rice, pasta and the like. I am very willing to give up my potatoes to increase chances of a baby. My concern is: is a protein rich diet OK for a soon to be (think positive) mom?

I think there's really nothing wrong with it. But, just to make sure, you better consult your doctor about it.

I would rather diet slowly than do it rapidly. I know how hard it is to cope wit PCOS and wanting to get pregnant but doing things harshly can have a negative effect on your body. Plus, carbs are the body's fuel. You will always be tired if you dont get enough carbs in your body.

Rapid dieting is really not good! It will not give you the good health result you need..it might worsen your problem. So, think of it a thousand times before doing it.

you know this doesnt sound very healthy and to me rapidly losing weight means that your body will be stress and so will you. i suggest slowly losing the weight if you can.

Yes, I agree with them their posts are informative, if our body are abruptly loses weight it can make us sick, when you want to loss your fat do it in a moderate manner.

Yeah! do not pressure yourself to loss weight fast. Remember, good results needs a lot of effort, time and sacrifices. Doing such rapid exercises and dieting won't help.

In doing a diet it must be done gradually.Don't do it in an abruptly manner. It is so dangerous it may cause an attack of any kinds of illness of humans body.
