Hello, this is my first time actual on a forum, let alone talking to any body other than my partner about this but I am at a lose what to do????? my partner and I have been trying to conceive for over 20 months. We are lucky enough to already have a beautiful daughter who is 5, but would love a little brother or sister for her. I have been to see my local GP who has been great and we are having some routine tests (blood tests for me and sperm count test for my other half). Well I have been told today that I have low progesterone (of 1 and the range is 8-90)!!! I've been told to fill in some fertility paper work for a referral, but I don't feel they will help us due to the fact we already have a child and my BMI. I am interested if anyone has been through a similar experience or has any advice????? Thanx Lisa

my advise is to see a reproductive endocrinologist. how old are you btw?

Are you sure that you did that test after ovulation? Are you checking your basic temperature or using ovulation tests?

If you're already 32 then it is time to see a good RE. they are usually the ones who are experts on the field of fertility. Your partner also needs to be tested as there is a possibility that he could have fertility problems too.
