Breast feeding one's baby for six months after giving birth delays ovulation. This works only if the breast feeding is the infant's sole source of food. So those who want to have a baby stop your breast feeding , but do it in a wholesome way.

This is normal birth control. Women can breast feed as long as two years after birth.

through breast feeding the spacing of the children is effective. the lactating mother can not ovulate but there are women who can ovulate even if they have done the breastfeeding methods after six months. It all depends to the reproductive organ, how it is productive.

This is natural birth control method. Even though it is not really 100% effective as birth control, this is one of the most promoted methods in the world.

I agree with you, it is a good birth control at the same time it is a good nutrients to be intake by the baby.

Lactational amenorhea is not a fertility problem. It is a form of birth control. If you want to get pregnant, stop breastfeeding.

This is not a cause for infertility rather a birth control method.

Kimberly - September 8th, 2010 3:54 AM

errr... I dont see what the problem is. it's birth control, ergo, no baby.

Breastfeeding is advisable in rearing an infant, it is proven that the milk of the mother is full of nutrients needed of the child as it grows.
