Will frequent sex with my partner increase chances of getting pregnant?

I've been TTC for like 7mos now. My cycle is regular. Now is like the 14th day and I have lower abdomen pains and spotting. I'm anxious. I really want to have a baby!

There is some truth in that statement. If you are not sure of when your ovulation period starts, a week after your ovulation, frequent sex with the hubbie/partner increases the chances. The point is to do it when the woman is most fertile, that is during her ovulation period.

There's that chance that you and hubby will hit the jackpot! OH yes, because if you don't know the right time you are ovulating, frequent sex will fill in those gaps.

My advise, other people perhaps have told you before, is keep trying. Don't make love to your husband and all you think is becoming pregnant or making a baby. That will only make you feel worse. Don't do it mechanically, like you are robots, doing it because you have to. Enjoy each other's body and touch. Sometimes we lose that important concept because we're all bent on TTC.

I say yes. This covers all bases. Buy an predictor kit. It will help to predict when ovulation will come to a woman. If you are charting, have sex with your husband before ovulation, not during. This will increase chances. An egg is valid only for 24 hours. Sperms can surive 3 to 5 days.

Recommended to have intercourse three times a week. More if you can manage it.
