has anybody used the fertility awareness method? when you follow this, you chart your menstrual cycle and take notes on the changes in your body.

This is natural family planning.

We've done this. Pretty basic, you have intercourse on her fertile days and this can be determined by charting the cycle and checking for other signs like tenderness in the breast and changes in the discharge.

Oh... so its just like rhythm method or calendar method. this is great if you are in your peak fertility years but as we get older, it gets harder to get pregnant. natural doesnt seem to work as well anymore...

My sister actually went through this. She got through 3 notebooks and a wealth of information. She finally got pregnant after a few years of charting!

Yes, it's good to have a chart of your menstrual cycle because it will serve as your guide when are you most fertile...so that you will also be sure that you will get pregnant.

We are also doing the charting. We downloaded an excel sheet that has everything on it. it is quite helpful especially in tracking down ovulation period. its also good to look back on and study the past info.
