I"m happy to know that I'm already pregnant. But I have experience lots of morning sickness and I hate it. My weight decrease and I don't like to eat because I ended up vomiting. Can any body suggest how can I avoid having morning sickness during pregnancy?

when you get up in the morning, dont get up immediately. lie down in bed for a while and eat some unsalted crackers and hot tea. this should settle your stomach. other than that, there's no avoiding morning sickness. good news, it only lasts for the first trimester.

oh and congrats!

That's a good tip you have there Electra. Well, morning sickness can strike at anytime of the day or night. You can avoid it by eating something that high in protein before going to bed, it can helps your blood sugar stay more level.

I keep hearing about the tea and crackers in the morning too. For women with really severe morning sickness, it is better to keep on eating even if you vomit. This way you get a little nutrient into your body than none at all.

Congratulations! You are lucky enough for being pregnant. But morning sickness really can't be avoided it's part of pregnancy experience that you need to accept and be willing to embrace such experience with happiness.

Many women suffer morning sickness..it can't be prevented. But mostly, it will occur on the first trimester of pregnancy. So, don't worry, because it will not last long.

Normal sickness is normal. My wife told me to tell you that she would gladly take your place and have morning sickness for 9 months... LOL!
