Are these kits very accurate? If the ovulation predictor test kit results are positive, does that guarantee that I will be ovulating soon? I'm preparing to be a mom. I'm trying to track down my ovulation.

My doctor says I have no problems with my reproductive organs. I've had tests to show the same. But I still want to be sure.

Pretty excited actually! *happy & smiling*

Not to dash your hopes hon,but ovulation predictor kit results are not entirely accurate. But hey, the doctor says you are healthy woman. Good luck! :)

Emma is right. They are not very accurate.

What the predictor kit does is to determine whether the luteinizing hormone (LH) is present. LH increases right before ovulation happens. That is wht the kit will tell you if it returns a positive result because LH is high. It will detect properly but whether you're going to ovulate or not, the kit cannot ensure that.

Ovulation predictor kits are not 100% accurate, but are generally accurate. If you combine different methods to track down ovulation, you'll have better results.
