Joanne

I didn’t have any of the cervical mucus before conceiving that all the books talk about. I did find temperature taking really useful though.

Conceiving was relatively easy for me so most of my comments are about once your pregnancy. Don’t worry about test results, so many of them come back with false positives. I was given the option of terminating my pregnancy because of dangerous chemicals I worked with during my first trimester.

I had several tests done during the first 18 weeks to see if they had caused any complications and got many false positive results, needless to say I have a totally healthy 3 1/2 month 15 lb baby. Really think about which tests are important to have done. Don’t expect too much of your body after giving birth as recovery will take a few weeks, and stitches really aren’t so bad (speaking from experience!)
