hard of this before? this is when the sperm enters the bladder during orgasm, instead of leaving the body via the urethra.

just a heads up for the guys here!

Nope have not. Poor sperm! so how is this treated?

mycah - July 4th, 2010 10:12 AM

It refers when the semen enters into the bladder instead of emerging into the penis. It actually not harmful but it can cause male infertility.

Quote: Treatment of Retrograde ejaculation

If retrograde ejaculation is caused by drugs, removal of the specific drug may resolve the condition. Retrograde ejaculation caused by diabetes or following genitourinary tract surgery may be responsive to the use of epinephrine-like drugs (such as pseudoephedrine or imipramine).

Common cold medications can sometimes be used to correct the problem. In addition, your physician may put you on medication to decrease the acidic quality of your urine, preventing the urine from killing the sperm may be prescribed. After ejaculation, the sperm is removed from the urine and may then be used with IUI or an IVF procedure.

If retrograde ejaculation is due to severe nerve or muscle damage, it may not be possible to restore normal ejaculation. For men who want to father a child, it may be possible to retrieve sperm from the urine following orgasm for use in artificial insemination. End Quote.

So sperm can survive in urine! This is amazing! but the only way to get pregnant is through IUI or IVF... it is costly! But still amazing! LOL!

It is really an amazing! the sperm can survive in the urine but if this is so , then be it. Praise God!

Retrieving the sperm and then having IVF or AI is the only way of getting a woman pregnant. This is again because the sperm goes to the urethra. Yes, it is costly but again in this case not an insurmountable problem.
