is it true that hormone irregularities in men can be caused by cleaners, fumes and the like?

allys - July 16th, 2010 3:35 AM

if you are constantly exposed to it then it would have an overall effect on your health and not just in your hormones. i imagine that you will be sick hence hormones and immunity is not at best.

yes! inhaling dangerous fumes can be dangerous. it can affect brain function and who knows what else! if you are constantly exposed to dangerous chemicals, take the necessary precautions.

missybonbon - July 19th, 2010 3:14 AM

sniffing anything dangerous does not only alter hormone levels but can cause other diseases like lung disease. remember that if you are always exposed to chemicals, this can have an effect on health.

btw, did you hear about the study concerning gardening chemicals and sperm count. it seems that too much exposure can decrease sperm count!

NadineChoo - July 19th, 2010 3:30 PM

I did not know this. What about men who work in paint factories? are there studies that show that they have low sperm count?

Hermes - October 13th, 2010 3:58 AM

yes! this is the price of modernization. These fumes can alter hormones and cause infertility problems!

Fred_Flintstone - October 15th, 2010 3:05 AM

i read that men who work in toll booths have lower sperm count due to exposure to pollution. So it is possible that cleaners and other household chemicals can alter hormones if you are over exposed to it.

Yes, because men are very much exposed with lots of chemicals, that's why.

tonette - October 21st, 2010 9:02 AM

There are many cases in which a men who are exposed or working in a company who are engaged in so many chemicals really do have infertility problems.
