yes it's true as i read accroding to new research has shown that men who have a folate rich diet have good quality sperm. |
i read that results showed that men with a diet richer in folate had up to 20% less abnormal sperm than those men with diets lacking in folate. The research was published in the 19th March edition of the medical journal, Human Reproduction. ('The Association of Folate, Zinc and Antioxident Intake With Sperm Aneuploidy In Healthy Non-smoking Men', S.S Young, B. Eskenazi, F.M Marchetti, G.Block and A.J Wyrobek). |

where should this folic acid naturaally found or presented in what foods? |
Folic acid is naturally present in beans, lentils, some fruits and leafy green vegetables .. |
you are right bro Sydney!.. in fact i love to eat green leafy vegetables like cabbage and spinach. |
You're both right Sydney and BamTwig. In fact, men who ate a higher proportion of these had less risk of producing children with defects and their wives had less risk of miscarriage as a result. |

one question? should men also take folic acid supplements prior to conception? |

Hi carmina! The new research suggests their health is just as vital to the child as is the mother's health. |
