Is erectile dysfunction a cause for infertility in men?

Johnny - May 18th, 2010 10:27 AM

I know that erectile dysfunction is the inability to get an erection, so definitely it can cause infertility in men.

Cheska - May 18th, 2010 10:30 AM

Erectile dysfunction is really a big problem for a man to have. It can't satisfied his partner as well as himself. It can also a hindrance for him to have a baby if he plan to have one in the future.

In male who suffer from an erectile dysfunction, this means that sexual intercourse is either impossible or only possible for a short time. This can put a strain in a relationship because this can limit the possibility of conception.

Samantha - May 18th, 2010 11:04 AM

Yes, erectile dysfunction is such a big infertility problem in men.

**helen** - May 18th, 2010 11:08 AM

Absolutely, yes. Erectile dysfunction is a cause for infertility in men. That's why for a man who is having such problem, it's good that he will consult a specialist and as soon as possible seek treatment.

Erectile dysfunction or what we call impotence is the inability to have erection and one of the great cause for men infertility.

jobelle - May 18th, 2010 11:21 AM

Erectile dysfunction can have a great impact in a relationship because it can be the cause for a woman having a partner with erectile dysfunction hard to conceive.

marc_west - May 19th, 2010 6:28 PM

It does not mean to say that you are infertile if you cant get it up... it just means you have problems getting it up.

Men with ED are still able to conceive. Again, the challenge is getting aroused.

Danny_A - May 19th, 2010 6:45 PM

I agree with Marc. Besides, there's always Viagra to help get it up when you cant.

A person is labeled infertile when he is unable to sire children. It has nothing to do with ED at all.

You cant get an erection due to physical, mental or emotional reasons, but you still produce lots of sperm. The problem is getting it "there"!

An erectile dysfunction is a big problem of men because it can't function in accordance to sexual purpose. It can't satisfied to his partner.

Anne@xtrm - May 20th, 2010 8:28 AM

How come that a man who has an erectile dysfunction can make a woman to conceive? It is impossible!

Irish33 - May 20th, 2010 8:32 AM

Yes, it is impossible but there are some ways in this recent time , when this can be given remedy. Have faith in God!

Luchien - May 20th, 2010 8:37 AM

in a sexual intercourse it is important that the couple may reach in a stage of climax but if it is not it would have disappointment that may take over.but anyway in a relationship, there must have understanding, love and respect.

merriz - May 20th, 2010 8:43 AM

I have read an article that a certain man had an erectile dysfunction but it was vanish due to a physician who is specialist in this case. He was able to become fertile.

Mikoto - May 20th, 2010 4:55 PM

I think Danny mentioned viagra. so this solves the getting hard problem.

i think it can cause problems in conceiving but it is not mean that when a man has ED then he is infertile.
