after a year of trying to conceive and nothing happened, what are the different tests to take in order to know the cause of the problem?

I think you could make use first of the home test kit to check both partners fertility. Then you could consult your doctor to help you analyze the results and assists you on the next steps to take.

HOME TESTS KIT ARE ONLY FOR WOMEN RIGHT? WHAT OTHER TESTS THAT WE MEN CAN USE AT THE COMFORTS OF THEIR HOME?

actually, there are lots of test that can determine what's the cause of the problem. You can try semen analysis, which causes no pain.

All fertility test are quite expensive and each have different effects, some causes stress. But before you undergo some test, you need to talk with your partner on what and how many test you want to do.

Visit a certified fertility specialist. You and your wife will be tested to know which or if both of you have fertility problems after this you will be given choices and alternatives for treatments.
