I always use condom before when I want to have sex, for safety purposes. Now, that I'm already married and we want badly to have a child, our doctor told us that I'm the one having problems of infertility. I'm a clean man and don't have vices, that's why I suspected my using of condom for a very long time causes my infertility problem. Is this true?

No, using condoms can't cause infertility problems..as a matter of fact, this can be helpful to have safe sex..you are being protected by lots of possible diseases, and what you've practice doing before using a condom is just good enough.

No, using condoms does not cause infertility. I've heard a lot of contraceptives that by frequent use of it can cause infertility problems but condom is an exemption of that.

A condom?? Dont think so. Most of the time, men are unaware because they exhibit no symptoms. Most of the time too, men will have a problem with their sperm count so its easily remedied. To make sure, get yourself tested. Its not a big deal really and is quite common.

Maybe you should go in for a sperm analysis. Most men are not aware that they have a low sperm count. This is no big deal. Usually sperm count can be increased naturally with a few lifestyle adjustments.

Condoms is a matter of fact gives you an assurance that you really have safe sex. As far as I know it can prevent you from getting pregnant but it can't cause you to have infertility problem.

There's really nothing wrong about using condoms..affecting ones fertility has no truth at all, believe me.

I think there is a possibility that by your using condoms is the cause of your infertility. As to your information you've been using it for a long time, and if you know it earlier which that of your use of condom may not be done.

I dont think its the condom. It could be other factors like age, low sperm count, ovulatory problems and the like. A fertility exepert should be able to clear things for you.

I agree. Sperm quality goes down at 40. Sperm count also goes down if you are stressed, smoke do drugs or drink lots of alcohol. So there are other factors to consider outside of the condom use.
