Hypertension or high blood pressure is one cause. In fact, this is an important cause of erectile dysfunction and impotence. Studies have shown that erectile dysfunction is more serious in men with hypertension.

to Mamasgirl..

Not all but there are more men are impotence coz of diabetes. Actually there are variable on this like the longer you've had diabetes, the more likely you are to experience erectile dysfunction. Some research indicates that people who manage their blood sugar levels better have less risk of erectile dysfunction.

multiple sclerosis or MS impairs nerve functioning thus making erectile dysfunction coz as i have read and understood that erections rely on nerves functioning properly.

Parkinson’s disease can also cause impotence. Men who have this disease may experience difficulty obtaining or maintaining an erection during sexual intercourse.

Prostatectomy or the procedure in removing prostate can also cause erectile dysfunction. In prostate surgery the common side effect of the procedure is erectile dysfunction.
