We have looked into this as one of our options should we run out of natural methods and if IUI does not work. Zift is like a combination of GIFT and IVF. But instead of transfering an embryo to the uterus, it is transfered to the fallopian tubes. |

ahhh... well there's always a catch isn't it. |

It depends from case to case. Zift isn't for women with fallopian tube issues. IVF on the other hand can work with women with fallopian tube problems as the embryo is deposited in her uterus. Age also plays a big factor in both procedures. |

Why does it have more chances of developing into an embryo if it is in the fallopian tube? |

I think it is better that they divide in the fallopian tube so that by the time they reach the uterus, they are ready to implant.\ |

isnt this like TET or tubal embryo transfer? |

It sounds so risky..I'm afraid it will give risks rather than treats..and also it's very expensive don't know if I can afford it. |
