there's a pink when i wipe...

Hi there ladies ,

I have written on here before about bleeding , all through my first tri so far!

I am 8 week 3 day today , saw heartbeat last Tues and crl was 13mm, so all seems ok with bean.

It is only a wipe of pink , no need for a pad, sometimes has stringy little bit of blood early a.m and after bm.
I get a clear discharge throughout the day (can feel it) makes me dash to loo thinking its blood, usually is a clear discharge with a tinge of blush pink in it...

Anyone else experiencing first trimester spotting / when wipe ??

It really gets me down,had previous mc end of nov 2010 , conceived very quickly around xmas day , so very anxious ALL the time.

yep i get it every few days. i had it yesterday all day and was convinced i was gonna miscarry. anyway everything is fine today. my doctor said its normal in the first tri, but still it is so worrying and i find it so unfair, i dont want to be thinking im going to loose our baby all the way through! it seems to start when i have a bowel movement, so ive started on fybogel to hopefully reduce the, er, straining.

my research tells me it could be a few things; most likely a bit of blood being squeezed out by pushing for a BM, which is common if baba is implanted low in the uterus, or the cervix bleeding because it has become engorged.

hope you're not loosing your sanity too much, we are ok and our babies are fine, just worried mummys

I am exactly the same, I have had constant spotting since before my bfp.

I was sent for an early scan last week, we saw a heartbeat which was reassuring.

I've decided to accept that I'm prone to spotting and I'm not going to let it stress me out anymore, unless it turns red of course. Baby looked fine so I'm going to relax

I also suffered a mc at the end of November, so I do understand the fear

Aw, well I can understand the worry then. It must be so hard for you

It's really great that you've seen your healthy baby with a heartbeat, hold on to that and try your best to stay positive.

I hope the spotting stops for you soon so you can enjoy this time

Its terrifying, I had a tiny pink wipe a week ago and today have had a small amount of brown, havent had any cramps or twinges so just hoping its the norm! Who'd have thought the lil bean could cause so much trouble before its even born!

Im exactly the same.. I had my BFP on Sunday and I have had constant spotting since then... its very dark brown and not a lot but I get it all day. I have had a crazy few days travelling in Denmark so have now come home to give my little one the best chance possible.
I am so worried as I too had a MC in Nov 2010 and although Im happy now unfortunately the feeling of worry is too strong to relax just yet. Im scared each time I go to the loo and Im doing tests every day!

I'm in the same boat, had scan at 6 wks due to pink watery discharge mainly when I go for BM, had brown discharge last night which has now turned to pink again when I have a BM!

I am having a scan tomorrow to see if things are okay.

Have had a bit of cramping too which has gone - scared the living daylights out of me.

Good to know we are all in this together ;D

gosh! i'm scared on this.. please consult this asap to your doctor... it's horrible experience.

First off I hope you're ok. I concur with the other posters here. On the first signs of spotting during pregnancy, consult your doctor quick!
